At Telenex Freight, we prioritize transparency and fairness in every shipment. In the trucking industry, unforeseen delays can happen, and our policies ensure drivers are compensated for their time and effort. TONU (Truck Ordered Not Used) applies when a truck is dispatched but the load is canceled after dispatch—Telenex Freight provides a standard fee to cover the driver’s lost time and miles. Detention charges occur when loading or unloading exceeds the agreed free time (typically 2 hours); we pay an hourly rate to keep drivers fairly compensated. Layover is paid when a driver must wait overnight or longer due to scheduling or load delays, ensuring downtime is covered. These practices reflect Telenex Freight’s commitment to professionalism, efficiency, and driver satisfaction across all operations.
